ELS TRES XALETS exteriors are unique and without compare. Located in the foothills of the Romanesque monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes and few meters from the sea near the viewpoint of the coastal town of El Port de la Selva. It has panoramic views of this typical Costa Brava fishing village, with white houses, harbor and moorings, fishing boats followed by seagulls, rocky mountain and a clear blue sea, which changes tone throughout the day. A few steps lead the front bays, coves with clear waters typical of the Costa Brava, suitable for swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing and other water sports. The views of ELS TRES XALETS, unique and without compare, are so appreciated and so beautiful that meals are extended to sunset, meetings become unforgettable memories.

In front of the house there is a large lawn area, of about 1,000m², from which the views can be contemplated. From the house you can admire the esplanade of green grass. The olive trees on the right are a traditional sign of hospitality, and a large pine tree on the left, keeping the panoramic views unpolluted.

There is a deep respect for the local Mediterranean flora. The villa/property has a big variety: olive trees, a lemon tree, an orange tree, an almond tree, a fig tree, bougainvillea, honeysuckle, wisteria, ivy/a creeper across the main facade of the house along with a vine, prickly pears, roses, aloes, wild lilies. Along the wood you find rockroses, heather, fennel, gorse, broom, rosemary, jasmine, lavender, and bay. Blackberries are found along the stream banks at the left side of the house.

Els Tres Xalets has nesting bird such as owls, wood pigeons, magpies, sparrows, nightingales… and a hoopoe family that come every spring to their second home.

Highlights from the house exterior are:

The Pine Wood Els Tres Xalets has an area of pine trees, which covers more than half of the estate. The area is located behind the house and is a lung of oxygen to the house and even for/to the surrounding area. The trees are carefully maintained, respecting the wild look so typical of a Mediterranean pine wood. The wood welcomes walkers. It has a pathway, adapted for disabled people, that leads from the car park to the pergola, pool and lawn area. The wood has interesting spots such as the a herb area and a couple of hammocks for a good nap.

The Solarium In addition to the pool area with loungers and outdoor furniture, Els Tres Xalets also has a roof terrace of over 100m² at the top of the house. This is great for sunbathing in total privacy and without giving up the spectacular views.

The Gardens Els Tres Xalets tiene un jardín delantero, una gran explanada de césped grande y abierta al mar, situada entre olivos y un gran pino.

Toilets The estate has toilets in a new and practical building by the wood, equidistant from all points of the property.

At the rear of the house is the second garden, under the eucalyptus and laurel, with slate patio and lawn. It is a more intimate sheltered garden. Sunny in the afternoon, it is a good spot for breakfast, afternoon tea, enjoying the pine wood, the cypress, and the song of birds that group together in this area protected from the wind and the salt. From the stone benches of this garden you can contemplate the village through the windows of the house, giving the impression of watching a live painting.
